Democritus was very different than Neils Bohr because of their scientific methods. Neils Bohr learned from his teacher and studied science for a long time while Dmocratis was the first person to even start studying about atoms in science. Also Neils Bohr created diagrams and studied other peoples diagrams to learn about atoms and discover more about them. Bohr was even able to prove one of his teacher's theorys wrong using the new model of the atom which had a cloud of "atomic" energy around the nucleus. Neils Bohr learned and argued points with Albert Einstein on topics such as atomic enery, atoms, etc. Democritus, as I said before was the first scientist of his kind and did not have people to confer with. Democritus and Bohr had very different scientific methods but both were still able to study about atoms.
